Parliament Resort Of Augusta

(85 Ratings)
Private Men's Resort

Billing itself as the largest men's resort, Parliament House is a fun and fabulous getaway. The atmosphere is a bit cruisy, the patrons include singles and couples, and nude sunbathing is permitted at the pool.

An oasis in the Old South

Stayed here during Independence Day weekend; very busy time. The compound itself is great; secure and easy to wander. No one can get into it without first registering at the front office. The staff is the best; extremely helpful and friendly. The pool is relaxing and fun. They just installed a brand new Jacuzzi. Then there's the dark room upstairs; its a labyrinth with several booths and porn playing on a big TV. There are all kinds of guys, so it's a matter of finding someone you like. The city of Augusta has a mall which closes too early on weekend nights; then there's another part of town where you can find Regal Cinemas, Starbucks, Target, and various restaurants. Fort Gordon is in town as well, so if you're lucky you might hook up with an Army boy or two. Overall a great experience. This is a good place to get away from it all and relax.

Clean, Secure, Reasonable

I could not let a couple of bad reviews go unanswered. I have stayed at PH many times. It is very secure. They do not allow anyone to wander in and out. They must also have an ID. As I travel, security gets more and more important to me. There are good looking guys in the spring-summer-fall and the "trolls" help keep the doors open in the winter for a chance visit by the self-appointed Adonises . Everyone is friendly. No means no. No one is pushy. Cover your privates (thong) and go anywhere on the property. Go nude in the activities building and around the pool. No hassles. I have seen security people there but most guys don't know it. I love to go with a travel companion. We get on the bed with the curtains open and put on a show for anyone that wants to watch. We love putting on a show in the dark room, even the video room sometimes. The pool stays super clean. It's just a cruising guy's dream. And book early, no kiddin, it gets busy on the weekends. Try it. Be nice. Don't judge, just say "no thank you"

All in One Resort.

Some of my friends in Atlanta had been to the Parliament House for a leather run, and after staying at various places visiting family and such, I thought I would try this place out. The lady at the front desk was more than accommodating, and told me a little about the grounds. I was staying from Thurs to Sunday, she told me about the bar next door and the cafe on the grounds, and then I was off to my room. Clean, decent, big bed, big window, very comfortable. It wasn't dark yet, so I kinda milled about the grounds getting 'acquainted' with the place. People seemed friendly, and it was pretty quiet. But that changed pretty quick. I went next door to the bar and met a bunch of people staying next door and a few locals, I had a few drinks and went back to the hotel. I checked out the 'maze' area and the steam room, there were guys around of all ages and types. Friday and Saturday though....what a difference. This place had a lot of people there, and the people that live in the campground invited me to a birthday party up at the campsite. Who am I to turn down free food and alcohol? These guys were really friendly and not in a nasty cruise-y way, they were just nice to be around. I ended up meeting them at the bar after the party, and I felt really welcomed. I ended up meeting some really hot guys , and had a lot of fun. Sure the place wasn't packed, but I was here Mid February...My friends say it's wilder in the summer....the pool area looked gorgeous, and I can't wait to come back here when it opens up. I really liked that it was secure, I mean, you can't just wander onto the property...there are some gross cruise-y hotels in Atlanta and Jacksonville that will allow anyone to drop in and look around; The extra security was welcome, I didn't feel on display and vulnerable as everyone on the grounds was looking for the same thing I was. Just to be clear: This isn't a bathhouse at all. It's a fun, cruisey place that is exactly what you make of it. Will definitely be returning.

What the reviewer didnt say

Whenever someone is reviewing a place they should tell you what they are looking for before they diss a place because that isn't what is offered. So here is my review of the reviewer and the Parliament House Augusta. The reviewer went during January. He should have told you that was slow season for the PHouse. Most of the time I travel there it is during spring, summer and fall. The crowds will be twice the size as during the winter.. After reading what places he really liked, I could tell he was looking for tweekers and hustlers(aka Flex and Phouse Orlando.). That isn't Augusta. He didn't like the fence. For those of us who work and travel with our valuable belongings, I prefer the security. Augusta is the feel good place. Everytime I visit, I see most of the same employees. This is a good sign for any business. The bosses must keep them fairly satisfied and they haven't had any problems of theft or heavy drug use with them. Augusta is a big place over 10 acres. I have met life long friends there from all over the US and we will meet there time and time again. It is one of the most friendly gay places that I have traveled. We all call Augusta our second home and love to visit. Yes there is the opportunity for plenty of sex but also lots of fun and fun people. As they say in Augusta, " Leave the attitude at your house and come on home."
